Terms of Service

Welcome to Style Spot. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Style Spot website and app at style.spot (the "Service"), operated by Style Spot ("Style Spot", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Who can use Style Spot

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you use the Service on behalf of a business (for example, as a stylist serving clients), you represent that you're authorized to accept these Terms for that business.

Your account

• You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure.
• Provide accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, briefs, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Style Spot a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you, for example, to analyze coloring and fit, generate looks, and render images. We don't sell Your Content, and we don't use it to advertise to other people. See our Privacy Policy for the details on how your data is handled.

You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to upload it. Don't upload photos of other people without their permission, and don't upload anything unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the rights to.

AI-generated results

Looks, product suggestions, sizing estimates, and rendered images are generated by automated AI systems and are provided for inspiration. They may not be perfectly accurate. Always confirm details, sizing, availability, and price on the retailer's own site before you buy.

Shopping and affiliate links

Style Spot suggests products sold by independent third-party retailers. Many of the shopping links on Style Spot are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. This does not change the price you pay. We don't sell products directly, we don't process your payments, and we're not the seller or merchant of record. Your purchase is a transaction between you and the retailer, governed by that retailer's terms, pricing, shipping, returns, and privacy practices. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more.

Acceptable use

When using Style Spot, you agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or upload content you don't have the rights to;
• Upload photos of other people without their consent;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Misuse affiliate links or attempt to generate fraudulent clicks, sales, or commissions;
• Use the Service to create misleading, harmful, or deceptive content.

Plans, tokens, and payments

Some features use "style tokens" and some are part of a paid plan. Details of any free allowance, trial, or paid plan are shown in the app at the time you use them. Where a paid plan or purchase is offered, the price and billing terms presented at checkout apply.

Availability and changes

We're actively building Style Spot, so features may change, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that AI results, product information, availability, or pricing are accurate or error-free. Third-party retailers, their products, and their websites are not under our control, and we're not responsible for them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Style Spot will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any purchase you make from a third-party retailer. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Style Spot operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
